Asthma means they are struggling to breathe. So yes, during an asthma attack they could stop breathing and die. My cat only gets them occasionally so I haven't opted for daily medication. One tip the vet gave me when it happens is to bring him into the bathroom, turn on the hot water in the shower, and let the room fill with steam.

to: FighterAceee94Sounds like your cat has asthma. My cat has the same symptoms and I found your comment while looking for more info about his asthma. Cats with asthma sometimes need regular shots or you may be able to figure out what she's allergic to.

my cat was vomiting so I went with her to the vet... he gave her some shots so the vomiting stopped.... after 3 days when she stopped getting shots the vomiting resumed... so could this be a hairball and not liver problems?she is like trying to puke something out but nothing comes out... sometimes abit of water with bubbles in it but nothing...
